I'm excited to be invited back to exhibit at the Mills Centre Gallery with a themed show titled, 'Nature / Nurture'.
I will be showing drawings and paintings made in the landscape spanning the last 5 years.
The most recent works were made during the last year where I spent time exploring the wilds of Hampstead Heath and my neighbour's allotment, cataloguing in sketchbooks the beginnings of Spring. Also featured are pastels made in and around the craggy landscape of Dartmoor National Park and Dumfries House, Ayrshire.
Please get in touch if you would like to attend the private view - here.

Artist & Illustrators Magazine
Nov 2020 & Jan 2021 editions
I'm excited to have been invited to write a couple of features for Artists & Illustrators Magazine recently.
In the November issue I demoed how to turn fresh blooms from your garden into a striking still life composition using high contrasts and chromatic black paint mixes.
The January issue has 2 painting exercises intended to keep people busy and creative during lockdown. The first is about painting reflected colour in a portrait and the other is about playing with colour saturation in a still life set-up.
Digital copies of the magazines can be viewed and purchased - here.
